Palmer's White & Even Series Review

PALMER’S WHITE & EVEN SERIES ADVERTORIAL

Our skin is constantly exposed to the sun and hence is susceptible to discolouration / hyper-pigmentation. Also, as age catches up with us, our skin will lose its elasticity and form wrinkles.

Other factors causing hyper-pigmentation includes acne scarring, severe dryness or hormonal changes from pregnancy, birth control pills or hormone replacement therapy.

Hyper-pigmentation comes in various forms including Age Spots, Freckles, Melasma, Mask of Pregnancy and Sun Spots.

Hence it makes sense that we adopt a good skincare routine so as to have even skin tone and look perfect at all times.

SampleStore has mailed 2 products from PALMER’S WHITE AND EVEN SERIES for my review.

These products claim to help correct skin tone. Besides being formulated with an advanced blend of ingredients that reduce hyper-pigmentation, the products are gentle enough to be suitable for all skin types as they are free of paragons, phthalates, sulphates, harsh dyes, synthetic dyes and fragrances.

Light, Gel-like texture of Palmer’s White and Even Dark Spot Corrector

The consistency of the Dark Spot Corrector is pretty light, translucent and gel-like. It has a light scent   of Cocoa Butter and Songyi Mushroom.

It felt slightly sticky when applied onto the skin initially but the stickiness disappears after a minute of two as the skin absorbs the serum.

After applying the Dark Spot Corrector to the bottom half of the back of my hand

The Dark Spot Corrector leaves behind a translucent sheen on the skin after application and I can feel that it is pretty moisturising.

PALMER’S WHITE AND EVEN CBB CREAM – FAIR / LIGHT (SGD22.90)

Palmer's White & Even Series Review
Palmer’s White and Even CBB Cream

CBB stands for Correcting Beauty Balm. This product claims to prime, perfect and protect the skin with its SPF15 properties. It is naturally tinted for a sheer coverage and to improve radiance and clarity.

Palmer's White & Even Series Review
The top half of my hand is coated with Palmer’s White and Even CBB Cream

The Palmer’s White and Even CBB Cream can be used as a sunscreen / primer before makeup application or it can also be worn on its own with its lightweight coverage to conceal imperfections.

A little of the product certainly goes a long way as the coverage is pretty decent and it dries up pretty fast with a glossy finishing. However, it would be highly recommended to apply a thin layer over your skin as it can become pretty caky if you apply too much of the product on your skin.

CONCLUSION

I think the Palmer’s White and Even Series work pretty well on my skin as the back of my hand has some tiny freckles which have faded a little on the second day of application. I will continue applying the Dark Spot Corrector as skin lotion on my hands to reduce my heriditary age spots / freckles on my hands 🙂
