Missha Soft Blending Stick Blusher Review

{Advertorial} Missha Soft Blending Stick Blusher in Pecan Brown and Mud Brown

I‘ve recently tried the Missha Soft Blending Stick Blushers to contour my round face from Althea Korea! I previously bought a Hoola Matte Bronzer from Benefit Cosmetics but it was too dark for my fair skin tone and aborted using it as it made my contouring process a messy nightmare 🙁

Missha offers a huge plethora of colours when it comes to their Soft Blending Stick Blushers range – they have the pinkish and orangey ones to be used as blushers, a white one as highlighter and brown ones to be used to shade the face.

As I had a round face which I desperately need to contour it to make it look slimmer, I was attracted by the Missha Soft Blending Stick Blusher when I saw it on Althea Korea retailing at only SGD15 each! Hence I ordered them in both shades – Pecan Brown and Mud Brown.

The Pecan Brown is lighter in shade and has a yellowish undertone whereas the Mud Brown is darker in contrast with a reddish undertone. As my skin has a yellowish undertone and is pretty pale, the Pecan Brown is more ideal for my daily usage although most bloggers recommend the Mud Brown as they think that the Pecan Brown one fades off when blended into the skin.

The Soft Blending Stick Blusher comes with a crayon tip at one end and a soft brush at the other end. Blending the product is made convenient with the brush at the other end and the product contains a fragrant similar to baby powder.

Video Review:

You might want to watch my video review on my take of the Missha Blending Stick Blusher and on how to use it below.

Pros

✔  Very Compact and Easy to Use
✔ Colours Blend out naturally
✔  Not sticky / oily upon application
✔  Convenient as the brush head is attached to the other end
✔  Very affordable – only SGD15 vs other ineffective bronzers
✔ Colours are long-lasting

Cons

✘ The Crayon Tip is pretty thick and hence it is quite challenging to contouring the bridge of your nose – you may use your fingers to do so or apply the product onto a narrower brush for precise application
✘ Some might dislike the smell of baby powder which is not an issue to me as I have blocked nose

I do hope you guys will find my sharing useful and you may consider trying these cute blending stick blushers out to contour your face or give your cheeks a pop of colour!
