{Advertorial} Wild Ferns Bee Venom Face Mask
The beauty industry has been evolving over the years. We’ve heard of exotic facial treatments using precious metals like gold, insects like leeches and the latest rave – snails. The latest facial product I’ve come across is none other than Wild Ferns Bee Venom Face Mask.
Bee Venom on the Face?
Yes, you can use Bee Venom for your beauty treatments and even the Duchess of Cambridge – Kate Middleton is reported to have been applying this secret facial over the past years to maintain her radiant and youthful complexion.
The Wild Ferns Bee Venom Face Mask is 99% Natural as it consists mostly of ingredients that are natural (i.e. Bee Venom, Royal Jelly, Manuka Honey) and naturally derived.
This mask helps to refine and soften your skin to give it a more radiant appearance. The Bee Venom content in the mask aids in skin renewal, encouraging increased circulation, collagen and elastin production as well as to firm and plump facial tissue for a smoother and youthful looking skin.
In case you are concerned about animal abuse, do be assured that Wild Ferns obtain the Bee Venom via ethical and humane means – you may refer to Wild Ferns‘ official website to find out more.

Patch Test
Although Bee Venom is HSA approved and safe for use, it can still cause allergies in some users. Hence it is highly recommended for you to run a patch test at the back of your hand / neck prior to using it on your face.
You may do a patch test using the testers available at Watsons prior to committing to purchase the full-size product home.
I simply applied the sample onto my hands and observed my skin for 24 hours as it was said that any signs of allergy will be evident within 4-24 hours. Also depending on the allergy, it will take from a few days to a week or so for the symptoms to disappear.
How To Use Wild Ferns Bee Venom Face Mask
#1: Apply the product evenly to face avoiding the eye area
#2: Leave on for 20 minutes
#3: Wash off
It is recommended to use this mask on a daily basis and noticeable results will be achieved over a period of time.
My Review
The packaging of the product is very exquisite and expensive looking due to the gold cap.
I have used this product thrice on my face thus far and I feel like I’m applying moisturiser onto my face instead of a face mask because it doesn’t coat my face with an opaque colour like most masks do.
I get a mild stinging sensation on my skin during my first usage and it feels minty and refreshing after I rinse the product off. The product also leaves a buttery / waxy feeling on my skin after I have rinsed it off which I need to get accustomed to.
Also, I noticed that this mask helps to expedite the ripening of my breakouts to enable me to extract them easily (yes, I admit that I have the habit of squeezing my pimples). I also feel that my face is more moisturised and supple after using it thrice but due to my busy schedule, I am not able to use it on a daily basis 🙁
