Our 4th Anniversary – Trip to Bangkok (Part 4)
Our final day in Bangkok falls on our 4th Anniversary which also happens to be Valentines’ Day. The final day is the shortest as we had to be at the hotel by 5pm for the transport to pick us up to the airport ✈️
Vlog
Here’s our final day vlog, realised that it is only 7 minutes long which is much shorter than the previous videos!
Hotel Buffet Breakfast
As the waffles served at the buffet was pretty soggy, I had the idea of toasting it with the bread toaster and it turned out to be perfect! I was indeed pleased with my brilliance 🔆
After we had our breakfast, we headed outdoors to take some photos with the Valentines’ Day décor.
Then, we back to our hotel room to do some last minute packing before checking out of the hotel 😸
Last Minute Shopping
After leaving our luggage with the concierge, we went off to do more last minute shopping as we did not manage to buy any souvenirs for our friends and relatives during the past 3 days.
For lunch, we did a stopover at a random Japanese restaurant and ordered some food to fill our tummies 😹
After grabbing some local snacks from the grocer’s, we went to a random massage parlour to have our feet massaged as we have been walking non-stop the entire afternoon 😽
Suvarnabhumi Airport
We arrived at the airport pretty early but was delayed at the customs as there was a long queue there 😤

Hence we had lesser time for dinner and we had our Anniversary dinner at Silom Village Airport Cuisine as it looked like the most decent dining place at the airport.
Little did we know that looks are always deceiving as the food served there was pretty bad – Phad Thai noodles tasted raw and hard. The staff even messed up my order and served me chocolate milkshake instead of strawberry milkshake – I waited over 10 minutes to get a replacement to realise that McDonalds’ Milkshakes tasted way better 😾

Frustrated with the insipid food served at Silom Village, we headed off to Burger King opposite and ordered some onion rings to fill our tummy 😋
Next, we had the most satisfying sweet treat from Dairy Queen. Their Oreo Blizzard was simply too AMAZING! Although we have Dairy Queen in Singapore, it still tasted more authentic when having it in Thailand 😹
Bye Bangkok!
Our Bangkok adventure ended shortly after we finished our dessert.
It was pretty emotional for us to leave Bangkok actually because we did not have enough time to try all the cafés and must-try foods there 😿 Also, going back to Singapore meant back to reality for us 😭
Notwithstanding that, we would love to visit Bangkok again for shopping and eating 💞
