Fuss-Free & Healthy Cooking With Essential Oils
Most of us struggle with cooking due to our busy schedules. Cooking can be therapeutic, fun & healthy if we enjoy it 🙂 So here’s a quick fuss-free lunch recipe that can be prepared in under 45 minutes & I’m cooking with Essential Oils here!
Cooking With Essential Oils?
I’m cooking with Essential Oils because it is a lot more convenient to do so. We are all busy people – squeezing lemons for lemon juice & preparing / storing mint leaves in the refrigerator is too much effort for me.
Hence I’ll be replacing lemon juice & mint leaves with Essential Oils for the sake of convenience.

#1: Peppermint Fruits & Vegetables Broth (Serves 2)
Fresh Ingredients:
- 1x Snow Pear
- 1x Carrot
- 1x Potato
- 1x Onion
- Chopped Garlic – 1 tablespoon
- 1 Block of Tofu (Optional)
- Water – 4 cups
Condiments:
- Organic Virgin Coconut Oil – 1 tablespoon
- Cinnamon Sugar – to taste
- Mixed Herbs – to taste
- White Pepper Powder – to taste (optional)
- 3 Drops Peppermint Essential Oil
- Mixed Brown Rice – 3/4 Cup
Preparation:
- Wash Fruits & Vegetables to ensure that they are clean
- Rinse Mixed Brown Rice
- Chop the fruits, vegetables & tofu into bite-sized chunks
*Tip: Diffuse some Citrusy Essential Oils (i.e. Lemon, Grapefruit / Orange) whilst chopping onion to prevent yourself from tearing & to feel uplifted throughout the cooking process 😉
Cooking:
- Pre-heat Rice Cooker / Pot
- Add 1 tablespoon of coconut oil into the heated rice cooker / pot
- Add in garlic & chopped onions
- Stir-Fry till Golden Brown
- Add the rest of the chopped ingredients & brown rice into the mixture
- Pour water into the mixture, ensure that it covers the ingredients well
- Add in your condiments to taste
- Drip 3 drops of Peppermint Essential Oil for refreshing flavour
- Let the broth simmer at low-heat for approximately 25-30 minutes
#2: Honey Lemon Chicken
Fresh Ingredients:
- Chicken Drumlets – 4 pcs
Condiments:
- 100% Natural Honey – to taste
- Dark Soya Sauce – 2 teaspoon
- Water – 10ml
- Lemon Essential Oil – 2-3 drops
Preparation:
- Pre-heat Airfryer at 180 deg for 5 minutes (You may pre-heat your oven if you don’t have an Airfryer)
- Marinate Chicken Drumlets with the condiments – use a fork to poke holes onto the chicken drumlets to ensure that the sauce penetrates into them evenly
Cooking
- Toss the marinated chicken drumlets into the Airfryer & allow it to cook for 10 minutes at 180 deg
- After 10 minutes, simply flip the chicken over & airfry for another 10 minutes till the sauce has dried up
