Howdy ppl! Today I’ll be doing a review on Laurier Ultra Gentle Heavy Day 25cm Sanitary Pad which was mailed to me by SampleStore.
I have always been using Laurier‘s Sanitary Pads for years because they do not irritate my skin like Kotex and Whisper (no intention to defame any brands here just that I’ve tried those 2 and they were just not for me because they caused me to itch pretty badly as I have sensitive skin).

My Review
First Glance
The packaging looks pretty with floral prints.
Th is how the Laurier Ultra Gentle Heavy Day 25cm Sanitary Pad looks like when opened.
As compared to my frequently used Laurier’s Super Slimguard 30cm, the surface of the Ultra Gentle is much smoother to touch and it feels more cottony as well.

One thing about Laurier’s sanitary pads is that they are ultra lightweight and thin.

Also, one thing I love about Laurier’s pads is that they come with wings and side lining to prevent spillage and leakage.

Efficacy
I’ve been using it for 2 days and I would say that this pad makes me feel dry and comfortable all day just that I would prefer a longer pad (i.e. the 30cm which I normally use). The 25cm pad would be ideal for daytime usage and for days with normal flow – I would not recommend using it for the first 2 days of period when the menstrual flow is the heaviest (just my personal preference).
Pricing of Laurier Ultra Gentle Series
The Ultra Gentle Series comes in various lengths – from shortest 20.5cm to longest 40cm.
You may purchase them from major supermarkets / hypermarkets, pharmacies an personal care stores.

Conclusion
The Ultra Gentle Series are indeed more comfy than the Super Slimguard version but there is still a difference in the pricing – S$0.48 / pc for Ultra Gentle 30cm VS S$0.37 / pc for Super Slimguard 30cm (difference of S$0.11 / pc).

I would definitely buy the Ultra Gentle Series if my skin is ultra sensitive but I think that the Super Slimguard is good enough for my personal use 🙂
