3 DIY Facial Masks For Dry / Sensitive Skin
Hello my friends! Today I’ll be sharing with you 3 DIY Facial Masks for Dry / Sensitive Skin that you can do in the comfort of your own home! These homemade facial masks are not only easy and affordable to do, they are also free of chemicals and toxic as compared to the commercial facial masks sold in retail outlets.
#1 Banana, Honey & Oatmeal

Benefits:
Banana
- Contains Vitamin A, B, E & Potassium
- Vitamin A: Helps rid the skin of spots and blemishes & evens out rough skin
- Vitamin B: Delay the ageing process, moisturizes and lightens skin
- Vitamin E: Combats free radical impairment, boosts the skin’s resistance to UV Rays and prevents the appearance of wrinkles
- Potassium: Gets rid of dry skin by moisturizing and hydrating skin cells
Honey
- Contains anti-bacteria properties that help prevent acne and pimples which can otherwise cause dark spots
- Contains Skin lightening properties
Oatmeal
- Contain Polysaccharides which become gelatinous in water which helps to combat skin dullness and dryness
- Forms a thin protective film when applied on skin
- Helps soothe dry skin symptoms like itching, rashes, scales and peeling etc
Ingredients:
- ½ Ripe Banana
- ½ Cup of Oatmeal
- 1 Tablespoon of Honey
How to:
- Blend the Banana, Oatmeal and Honey together
- Stir in a some water and mix thoroughly until the mixture turns into a paste
- Smear the mixture onto freshly washed skin
- Let the mask sit on your skin for a good 15 minutes before rinsing off with warm water
- Pat Dry your Face with a facial tower
- If possible, apply a moisturizer on your skin when it is still wet
#2 Cucumber & Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera

- Reduces Acne & Lighten Blemishes
- Helps with Sunburns
Ingredients:
- 1 Cucumber
- 2 Tablespoons of Aloe Vera
How To:
- Blend the ingredients until they form into a thick consistent mixture
- Smear the paste onto your face
- Leave the mask on your face for 30 minutes before rinsing off with cold water
#3: Aldora’s Hydrating Lavender Luffa Mask
This IS my all-time favourite because it is totally hassle-free & takes only approximately under 3 minutes to prepare 😉

Lavender
- Reduce Anxiety & Stress
- Heals Burns & Wounds
- Restores skin complexion and reduces acne
- Slows aging with powerful antioxidants
- Improves eczema and psoriasis
Ingredients:
- 1 Paper Sheet Mask
- Luffa Water (20ml)
- Therapeutic Grade Lavender Essential Oil (1 Drop)

How To:
- Pour Luffa Water into an empty bowl
- Drip a Drop of Lavender Essential Oil
- Dip the Paper Sheet Mask into the mixture & allow it to soak
- Apply Sheet Mask onto face & let it sit for 15 minutes
- Remove Sheet Mask & continue with facial routine
