Our 4th Anniversary – Trip to Bangkok (Part 2)
Woke up from a good night’s sleep in our hotel room @ the Centara Watergate Pavilion Hotel, Bangkok. The water heating system in the hotel wasn’t fantastic as we ended up bathing with either water that is too cold or got almost scalded by overly hot water the night before 😤 However the beds and pillows were still pretty comfy and hence we drifted to slumberland almost immediately.

Vlog
Watch our Day 2’s Vlog below in order not to miss out anything!
International Buffet Breakfast at Café 9, Centara Watergate Pavilion
Was so happy to get to dine at Café 9 and enjoy the beautiful view outside 🙂
For the first round, I got myself Waffles, Pancake, French Toast and Scrambled Eggs.
Waffles with chocolate sauce, Strawberry yoghurt, Blue Cheese, Mixed Fruits atop Mini Pancake, French Toast & Scrambled Eggs
Almost everything tasted was soggy. The blue cheese tasted way too strong that I gave up eating it completely 😖
Only strawberry yoghurt is nice I think *hehehe*😇
I tried to make up for the awful food by getting cornflakes with milk for the second round. But… The cornflakes do not taste crispy at all – guess they were being exposed to the air for too long 😾
I tried their muffins and they tasted bad too.
Only Sweetie Muffin found their food OK tasting I guess (he is too easily contented).
In addition, their service was overall very slow – our plates are not cleared throughout the meal.
#OOTD TIME!
After we had our breakfast, we headed to the open area to take photos with the pavilions outside of Café 9.
Siam Center
We shopped around MBK and Siam Center for a while and discovered this Annette Tim Tuk Tuk located at Food Republic on the 4th floor which sells pretty looking gelato popsicles🍭

There are many pretty cafés at Siam Center which seem to be worth exploring…
Hello Kitty House
After wasting some time trying to locate the Hello Kitty in the vicinity and finally located it near Siam Paragon.
Sanrio Hello Kitty House Bangkok
Location: Siam SQ1, Bangkok
Tel: +662 115 1335
Hello Kitty House comprises of 3 levels – first 2 levels for dining and the basement level is a retail shop for Sanrio merchandises as well as the Hello Kitty Nail Spa.
We spent a total of 815THB at Hello Kitty House – topped up 30THB for a bottle of mineral water in order to get the Hello Kitty Gift Set comprising of a plate and utensils.
The food we ordered looked really pretty but tasted so-so to be honest.
Hello Kitty House Level 2
After our meal, we went to Level 2 of the Café to explore and the décor is just so cute!!
Hello Kitty House Basement
The basement has a retail shop selling Hello Kitty merchandises and also a Nail Salon💅🏻
We continued shopping around Siam Square for a while and bought some clothes before heading off for Traditional Thai Massage.
Traditional Thai Body Massage @ Chang Foot Massage and Spa
We decided to pop by Chang Foot Massage and Spa for a 60min Traditional Thai Body Massage at the Siam Square area.
The massage was pretty average as I would prefer more strength to be exerted on myself. Also, I would prefer the TCM style where they press my acupoints precisely.

Dinner @ Fai Sor Kam, Siam Paragon
Initially, we intended to visit Sansab Restaurant for steamboat buffet dinner @ Siam Paragon but our massage ended pretty late. Moreover Sansab Restaurant was located at a corner on L4 of Siam Paragon and the signboard ain’t flashy for us to notice which made us walk past the place twice before we noticed it 😭 The restaurant was already closed when we found it anyway and hence we ended up having authentic Thai Cuisin at Fai Sor Kam where we managed to catch their last order at 9.30pm😿
Food at Fai Sor Kam tasted pretty good as we tucked ourselves into their clear Tom Yum Goong 😋 Mango Sticky Rice tasted unique as well as they added some rice crackers atop the sticky rice and the mango tasted real sweet!
This meal ain’t precisely pocket friendly because we ended up spending over 1,000THB 💸 for it which is pretty equivalent to Singapore pricing. In fact the food at Siam Paragon is never cheap to begin with judging from the fact that they are housed in a classy shopping mall.

We simply walked back to our hotel after our satisfying dinner and was so grateful that the hotel was within walking distance from Siam Paragon.
